Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar storage keep Convene secure and snappy. This page tells you what is set, how long we keep it, and how to manage preferences without breaking your workflow.

Essential Cookies

Required for Convene to function (authentication, role-based routing, CSRF defense, load balancing). These are always enabled and do not store personally identifiable text.

Preference Cookies

Remember your language, dashboard layout, dark/light theme, and saved filters so pages open instantly the next time you visit.

Analytics & Performance

Help us understand which modules load slowly, detect UI errors, and measure adoption. We rely on aggregated metrics only and rotate IP addresses frequently.

Mobile & Device Cookies

Keep you signed in across web and native clients and sync push-notification tokens securely without exposing login credentials.

Engagement & Experiments

Occasionally we run A/B tests (e.g., new recommendations layout). Participation data is irreversibly anonymized before analysis.

Managing Your Choices

You can opt out of non-essential cookies through the in-app banner, browser settings, or by emailing privacy@convene.com. Essential cookies cannot be disabled because they keep sessions secure.

Third-Party Cookies

Used only when you interact with embedded content (e.g., Stripe checkout, Calendly scheduling). Those providers maintain their own policies—links are provided wherever integrations appear.

Need to change your choice? Open the cookie banner via Settings → Privacy or clear Convene cookies in your browser, then refresh. For detailed questions, email privacy@convene.com.
